Bridgewater got its start late in the Housing Boom which collapsed in 2005. House after house was built, bought by investers then flipped with ever increasing prices until it all suddenly came to a halt.
Bridgewater, hit hard by the housing collapse, is now a thriving community. The homes were built between 2004 and 2006. The tax records show there are 373 homes in phase 1 and 2, 195 homes in phase 3, and 231 homes in phase 4.

Bridgewater is within walking distance to (but you'll want to drive) a Pasco County public school complex containing Wesley Chapel Elementary, Weightman Middle and Wesley Chapel High--oh so convenient for parents who have or might have children in two and even three schools at the same time.
Bridgewater is a convenient housing choice for commuters to downtown Tampa because It has quick and easy access to Interstate 75.
Bridgewater is also convenient to the Wesley Chapel Recreation Complex on Boyette Road. This beautiful Pasco County regional park offers ball fields, walking trail, playground, basketball courts, etc. A future swimming pool is planned.
Shoppers will love the proximity to shopping malls, including an outlet mall under construction at SR 56 and I75. You can take in a movie at the Wesley Chapel theater which offers cinebistro.
Speaking of food, there are plenty of great eating establishments near Bridgewater. Wesley Chapel has a new hospital on Bruce B. Downs. A new Community College also serves Wesley Chapel and the University of South Florida is convenient as well.
